It’s that time of the year again, the ATA-TCD conference is right around the corner! Unfortunately 1-Stop will not be attending; however, we are proud to participate as a sponsor this year. The ATA Translation Company Division’s 13th Annual Conference will be held in Orlando, Florida, Friday January 24th through Sunday, January 27th.
The conference consists of members that deal with the management and operation aspects of translation. The purpose of the conference is to “serve as a means of communication among our members; to provide information and service in specific fields of interest related to the business of translation and interpretation; to organize meetings that further cooperation and information exchange among members; and to promote the policies and objectives of the division and the ATA.” ( ATA-TCD, 2013)
Although our CEO, Don Shin will not be in attendance, a small part of 1-Stop Translation will still be with you, which you can find in your conference folder. Here’s a brief message from Don, “It’s unfortunate that I am unable to attend this year’s conference, but I hope you will enjoy our little gift to you.
